Cape Green Forum Trade Day 24th of August was a Great Success

Another successful Cape Green Trade Day was held on 24 August 2016. As promised it was a busy, upbeat day with copious amounts of colour and the promise of Spring in the air. The growers creatively displayed their beautiful plants and the allied exhibitors constructed some truly amazing stands to grab the attention of our attendees. It really was wonderful to see the quality and effort that went into these creations.

Once again Shadowlands, with their “Firescape the Cape” theme and Makhro Home & Garden won the plant and allied trophies respectively. Vertical Veg walked away with the Judges Award and trophy with Elands Nursery in 2nd and De Fynne in 3rd for the plant category and with Red Tractor 2nd and Protek 3rd in the allied category.

There were approximately 60 exhibitors this year with attendees from many regions of SA.

SunExhibits at GrandWest is the ideal venue. It is very central, offers easy access and has loads of indoor space. The wide aisles allow visitors to freely wander around placing orders for the season and discussing new products with the stand holders.

The Cape Green Trade Day is a one-stop shop for anyone in the horticultural business in the Cape and we are looking forward to their next exciting Trade Day in the new year!
