Africa Lawns was established 10 years ago as the brainchild of Chris Rossouw jnr, a member of the 1995 World Cup Springbok team that won the World Cup final. Africa Lawns is part of the Rossouw Group which in turn won the prestigious award of farmers of the year back in 2007. The Rossouw Group is made up by Father Chris snr, brothers Adriaan, Charles, Chris jnr, Naude and Tiaan.
This is the second time Africa Lawns has won the prestigious award of SALI supplier of the year, the former being in 2011.
Jannie Van Der Schyff, married to our niece Lezel, ran Africa Lawns from the start and is mostly responsible and to thank for this great honour, Jannie was tragically shot at his home right in front of his wife(our niece) and their two sons, back in April and passed away,
Jannie left a great team behind and it was easy to pick up where he left Africa Lawns in such a great space and as such a dynamic well-oiled machine, all thanks must go to the team of Annelize De Beer, Vernon Wallace, Hannes Visser and every employee working their hands to the bone for Africa Lawns. Also the understanding clients in this industry and Evergreen for their mentorship.
