Cape Town – As the Western Cape blooms into its marvelous natural spring beauty, we welcome the Cape Town Flower Show.

The flower show is situated in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, at the newly refurbished Castle of Good Hope, which commemorates its 350th anniversary this year. The show is expected to become a living legacy through which Cape Town can promote its natural beauty.

The show aims to artistically display the brilliant diversity of the Cape’s flora, inspire its visitors to value their outdoor spaces and environment, and provide a platform for the local horticultural industry to promote itself.

Visitors to the show can expect beautiful show gardens in the front courtyard inspired by 20 unique gardens, the ‘Flowers in Art’ exhibition in the governor’s house, the South African mint floral theatre in Bakhuys, the MasterFlorist™ Competition, workshops and demos, nurseries along the Castle’s terraces, an educational Water-Wise exhibition, a foods and drinks garden in the rear courtyard, VIP areas on the balconies, high tea talks in the Lady Anne Barnard room, children’s activities and a retail exhibition.
