Learn new approaches to planting design through four modules in a two-day format that provides insight and tools to create resilient planting schemes for landscapes and gardens. Enhance your skills to enable you to operate successfully in the challenging, yet dynamic, 21st Century urban environment.
The Resilient Planting course is aimed at professional landscape architects and landscape technologists with a knowledge of planting design and the basics of local plant knowledge, but will be open to knowledgeable amateurs as well.

Cost is R3,500, including VAT, and also includes refreshments and lunch.
Attendees will extend their knowledge and skills in resilient planting design and its management. The course presenters will share their exploration of this, and, in an ongoing project, participants will identify a site of their own and apply the techniques and methods to arrive at a suitable plant pallet and planting design.
A total of 2 CPD points can be claimed from SACLAP: 1.5 credits for attendance of the short course plus 0.5 credits on satisfactory completion of an optional 10 hour assignment.
